The COLA increase for those eligible is in the July 2020 check. The COLA effective July 1, 2020, is 3 percent on the first $14,000. For those reaching this maximum, this translates to an extra $35 per month. Others whose pension is less than $14,000 per year will have smaller COLA increases.
